In addition to the actual formation of a company, G Mintis Law Firm will undertake all the formalities associated with work permits that enable non-European citizens to obtain a visa in the capacity of the Executive Director of a newly formed company. Such a permit also allows dependent family members under the age of 18 to reside in Cyprus.
Companies of this kind may be a private company, a European company, or another legal entity such as a branch. The initial permits are valid for a duration of 2 years and can be renewed.
To qualify as an Executive Director with the ensuing privileges, a number of criteria must be met. These include a minimum total annual salary of €41,006, a minimum 51% foreign participation in the share capital, and self-contained, non-residential office premises.
Although the required documentation might appear daunting to the outsider, the firm’s familiarity with the system and extensive experience in the field will reduce the potentially confusing procedure to a matter of routine.
